EMHA DESIGN REVIEW PROCESS WEAPONIZED AGAINST HOMEOWNER X
EMHA has a design review process that is supposed to be fairly applied among all homeowners making requests.
After this website has been completed, each reader will have an opportunity to determine if the El Mirador Homeowners Association, Inc., its Board of Directors and Design Review Committee have treated everyone similarly, or if, as Homeowner X insists, they have discriminated and harassed a single family living among the group of 94 existing homes within the subdivision.
The Covenants describe a Design Review Process
Design Review Requests are typically not complicated, and are mostly approved with little consideration by EMHA. This can be evidenced by Henry Trost's claim of 100% approval for 2020, when the Design Review Committee had fewer people than required by the Covenants for most of the year. Trost must have approved many applications by himself in 2020, in direct violation of EMHA rules. Trost also claimed a 100% approval rate for 2021.
Homeowner X contends that the Association does not engage in a fair and honest design review process for all applicants.
