Veronica Saenz was first appointed as Secretary of the El Mirador Homeowners Association Board of Directors in 2023, recommended by David Chavez, Jr.. During her initial tenure, concerns arose regarding her alignment with the Board's decisions rather than independent representation of homeowner interests. Now serving as Secretary again in 2025, her approach remains consistent. Notably, she has yet to respond to an official information request from Homeowner X, reinforcing ongoing concerns about transparency and homeowner engagement.

The 2025 election, intended to be a fair contest, was anything but. None of the new Board members demonstrated the courage to enter the election as honest competitors. Instead, they allowed DANA Properties, led by owner Sheldon Wheeler and employee Sema Gonzalez, to manipulate the ballots and the election process, effectively eliminating any chance of fairness or genuine competition. This manipulation appears to serve DANA Properties' interests, enabling them to profit from the Association while providing little to no benefit to the community. Furthermore, the Board members seem to rely on DANA Properties to act as enforcers, bullying Homeowner X in exchange for securing the Association's contract. Such behavior raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability, making it increasingly difficult to trust the integrity of the leadership. The current Board consists of individuals who repeatedly prioritize their own interests over the well-being of the community. Their past actions include disregarding straightforward information requests from the Association and enforcing rules selectively to serve their own agenda.

Veronica Saenz

Veronica Saenz has willingly joined the El Mirador HOA Board, aligning herself with its pattern of intimidation and manipulation. In addition to her role in the Association, Saenz is the entrepreneur behind Tozi Botanicals, a brand specializing in hemp-based CBD & THC topicals. Based in New Mexico, Tozi Botanicals is styled as @toziremedies, with Instagram serving as its primary web presence after the brand discontinued its website, toziremedies.com, likely due to financial considerations.

Tozi Botanicals products are available through a variety of local vendors who don't mind aligning themselves with HOA bullies:

William Vogt

In the aftermath of the El Paso Walmart mass shooting, army veteran and gun enthusiast Bill Vogt publicly advocated for a gun buyback program, expressing his desire to remove assault rifles from circulation and ignite a broader discussion on gun control, as documented in The Guardian's coverage. Ironically, despite his vocal support, it remains unclear whether Vogt himself ever participated in the buyback program, raising questions about whether his advocacy was genuine or simply an exercise in virtue signaling.

Meanwhile, the El Paso County gun buyback program continues, offering residents the opportunity to anonymously exchange unwanted firearms, including assault rifles, for prepaid Mastercard gift cards. This initiative, a collaboration between the El Paso County Attorney’s Office and Sheriff’s Office, aims to mitigate gun violence and prevent firearms from falling into the wrong hands, as detailed by KVIA News. Over the years, hundreds of firearms have been collected and slated for destruction, reinforcing the program’s ongoing efforts to address gun-related safety concerns in the community.

El Mirador residents curious about whether William Vogt followed through on his stated desire to remove his AR-15 rifle from circulation may consider reaching out directly to Veronica Saenz or Vogt himself. They can be contacted via email at verosaenz59@gmail.com or by phone at (915) 205-0199.

Veronica Saenz has been actively engaging with residents in the El Mirador subdivision, spreading false information designed to portray Homeowner X in a negative light. These efforts are not isolated but are deeply intertwined with the broader campaign led by the HOA Board and DANA Properties, both working in unison to undermine and discredit Homeowner X. DANA Properties has consistently supported the Board’s agenda, reinforcing this pattern of wrongful behavior by enabling and amplifying misinformation, rather than fostering transparency and fairness. Their combined actions not only contribute to a hostile and divisive community environment but also raise serious concerns about ethical governance and accountability within the Association.

Homeowner X refuses to stand by while the HOA Board and DANA Properties attempt to distort reality to serve their own interests. He is committed to resisting their efforts to the greatest possible extent, using every available legal and ethical avenue to hold them accountable. In the spirit of true transparency, he firmly believes that "Sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants"—a sentiment originally expressed by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis. By exposing misconduct and bringing truth to light, he aims to ensure that justice and fairness prevail within the community.

Irony of Vogt/Saenz and El Mirador HOA

The irony of Bill Vogt’s advocacy for a gun buyback program in response to the tragic Walmart shooting is stark when juxtaposed with the actions of the El Mirador HOA on the very same day the shooting occurred. While Vogt sought to address gun violence and promote community safety when interviewed for the article, the HOA, at the behest of David and Judi Pierce, chose to focus their energy on filing a complaint with the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Department about a lawful and legitimate drone flight conducted by Homeowner X days earlier. Incredibly, this complaint resulted in the dispatch of three deputies, diverting valuable law enforcement resources on a day when the community’s attention should have been on healing and addressing the broader issue of public safety. This stark contrast underscores the misplaced priorities and pettiness of the HOA’s leadership.

Despite the gravity of the Walmart shooting, El Mirador HOA prioritized filing a drone complaint against Homeowner X, prompting a response from four sheriff’s deputies. This contrast underscores the misplaced priorities of the HOA’s leadership.
